Assistive Technology.

 

Inclusive OT will complete a comprehensive functional assessment to understand each client’s needs and recommend AT that’s tailored to suit their specific goals. We work with a selected group of AT suppliers who provide expert product knowledge that compliments our clinical assessmments.

We have extensive experience providing clinical services to clients living with a variety of physical disabilities including neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.

Our AT reports are detailed and include clear rationale to ensure they meet funding body guidelines. We complete follow-up visits to ensure that AT has been fitted and used appropriately to achieve the desired outcomes.

Our team maintains up-to-date knowledge of AT products through attending professional development workshops, expos, regular visits to supplier showrooms . Director Angie has previously taught ‘Disability and Assistive Products’ to occupational therapy students at the University of Sydney and runs workshops on “Powered Mobility Device Assessments & Prescription’ to occupational therapists around Australia.

NDIS OT Services

$193.99 per hour as per NDIS Price Guide

Gap fees apply for travel effective from 1st July 2025

Aged Care OT Services

$150 per hour (exc. GST) for Home Care Package clients, and clients accessing CHSP Services.

Insurance/ Private OT Services

Hourly rates vary and are dependent on the type of assessment and level of expertise needed. Currently ranging from $225.00 - $255.00/ hour.

Resources for clients.

The Equipment Allocation Program (EAP) operated through Enable NSW, provides a range of standard stock self-care and mobility equipment for eligible people in NSW. The equipment is readily available for statewide delivery no matter where a person lives in NSW i.e. metropolitan, regional or rural areas. The range of equipment includes beds, mattresses, bathing and toileting aids, transfer aids, slings, pressure cushions, power wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers.

The Aids and Equipment Program is another Enabe NSW Government initiative to assist eligible people, who have specific, short term or ongoing health needs to assist them to live and participate at home and in their community by providing appropriate assistive technology.
